Arsenal will look to continue its trophy hunt when it takes on Chelsea in the Capital One Cup.

Both sides are coming off impressive victories this weekend and are among the top sides in the English Premier League. Arsenal is the top team in the league right now and defeated Crystal Palace 2-0 while only sporting a 10-man group throughout the game. However, the game with Chelsea provides the team with its first major challenge against an English side.

Despite it terrific run, Arsenal has not taken down one of the big sides yet. A win over Tottenham was impressive, but the Gunners have yet to play Chelsea, Manchester United, or Manchester City this season.

"The games coming up will be the big test," Arsenal's Per Mertesacker said in The Sun. "I think we have surprised a few people already this season.

"But we need to surprise them more and keep applying the pressure on all the teams chasing us. And that is going to be difficult," he added. "What we showed against Palace was a good enough response for now but there will be many more tests to come which will be crucial for the rest of the season."

Chelsea is coming off a big 2-1 win against Manchester City in a match that featured a last-minute goal from the inconsistent Fernando Torres. It was the Spanish striker's first tally of the season.

"I am feeling good and with high confidence, and feeling better in the system we are playing with more space," Torres said according to ESPN. "I felt the support for all the past and I am really happy for the fans. Sometimes I feel they are even more happy with them than me, and hopefully they can see more of this this season."

Prediction: Arsenal manages a 1-0 win.
Start Time: 3:45 p.m.
