The Nokia Lumia 521 has seen another price reduction as the smartphone was named the most popular Windows Phone device in the United States.
As seen on Amazon.com, the Lumia 521's price has been reduced by 34 percent, or $51.05 from its original price tag of $149.99.

The Amazon price for the Windows Phone 8 device is $98.84 with free shipping. The "free shipping offer" is attached due to the item costing more than $35 on Amazon.
The Lumia 521, an exclusive smartphone with America's fourth-largest mobile carrier T-Mobile, has generally received favorable reviews on Amazon with an overall rating of 4.1 out of 5 stars.
"Let me first start of by saying, this is an amazing phone! I bought it as a cheap entry into Windows Phone 8, and I'm completely blown away. I wasn't expecting this," reviewed Ichiro on Amazon. "This phone was going to be something I use as a backup, but I'm currently using this as my daily driver, and I love it!"
Dimsu, who gave it 3 of 5 stars, wrote, "The handset build quality is absolutely great for the price. The touch screen is great, the keyboard predictability also great. The way the phone handled day to day operation, for the price was also great."
"This is my first smartphone. I love it so far. I could not send and receive pictures on it so I called T-Mobile and was told to take a picture and send it to my number," reviewed Kathy Igou. "I did and after that I was able to send and receive pictures. The camera takes great shots outside or in bright light but there is no flash. Over all it seems like a good phone at a good price."
"This Windows phone is reasonably priced, and is bought without the requirement of a contract with T-Mobile," John L. Keown stated. "If you want phone minutes without a data plan, you can opt for that. Then use Wi-Fi for data where available. This makes the Nokia Lumia a great device at a good price. You will love it too!"
Elsewhere, the Lumia 521 is also available on HSN but for a heavier price. HSN is offering the Lumia 521 for $149.95, although free shipping is included as well. HSN is offering the consumer to purchase the Windows Phone 8 smartphone under the FlexPays plan, which cuts the price into three payments of $49.98.
The latest prices come as the Lumia 521 was named the most popular Windows Phone device in the U.S. As Latinos Post reported, AdDuplex's latest figures showed the Lumia 521 as the most utilized overall Windows Phone smartphone and Windows Phone 8 device in the world as well, topping the Lumia 822 and Lumia 920, to name a few.
The Lumia 521, which is 4G enabled, has a 4-inch touchscreen and 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording. When it comes to memory, the smartphone has 8GB of internal storage with 512MB of RAM. A microSD card slot is available for an additional 64GB of storage. The battery capacity for the Windows Phone 8 smartphone is 1,430mAh.
