Eva Longoria Opens Up About New Film 'Refugio' and her Experience Working With Mexican Star Demián Bichir

Actress and entrepreneur Eva Longoria is working on the upcoming film "Refugio" ("Refuge") under the direction of Demián Bichir, and according to Mexican news site Zócalo, the 38-year-old star is really enjoying and learning from the experience.

In the movie, the former 'Desperate Housewives' star shares some romantic scenes with Bichir's nephew, José Ángel, who plays the main character. "The scenes (I shot) weren't with Demián, but with his nephew José Ángel. I was with him, but he's too young. It was funny, because José Ángel is shy," said Longoria, Zócalo reported.

"He's a sweetheart, an amazing actor and I loved spending time with them. It was so much fun making the movie with Demián, he's an incredible actor and he's also an amazing director," added Longoria, who joined the shoot earlier this month in Toluca, Mexico.

On the set of "Refugio," Longoria fell in love with a beautiful horse and decided to share her excitement with her fans on Who Say. "What a beauty!!," wrote the star on her account. "I love my new co-star in the film! He's a good kisser!!," she captioned in a second picture.

The "Alma de Tu Mundo" award winner confessed to be impressed about Bachir's knowledge and wisdom. "He knows a lot about our film industry, he has worked in this all his life, but when he is behind the camera he becomes a genius. He is very clever," Longoria said.

"He is a director that will amaze (with his work)," said the actress, who took advantage of her time in Mexico to attend the local edition of Glamour magazine's 15^th anniversary gala. The ceremony was also attended by Demi Lovato, former RBD Dulce María, Eiza González, Aislinn Derbez (daughter of Eugenio Derbez), Roselyn Sánchez (who plays Carmen Luna in the hit series 'Devious Maids'), Rebecca de Alba, Fernanda del Castillo, and Christopher Ukerman, among others.

Longoria shared some pictures where she can be seen with Lovato and Sánchez in the gala, while in another one she and Sánchez are relaxing in a couch backstage. "Roselyn Sanchez and I in Mexico drinking a lot of tequila," she captioned in the photo.
