The Edmonton Oilers will look to win their second road game of the season when they face the Montreal Canadiens.

Edmonton recently picked up its first win away from home when it took down the Ottawa Senators 3-1 this past weekend. The team had been coming off a poor performance against the New York Islanders on Thursday in which goalie Devan Dubnyk got no support from the players in front of him.

"The past few games we haven't supported our goaltenders too well, so we wanted to help him out even more coming into this game," said Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins according to the team's website. "We probably could have been even better still, but luckily for us he stood on his head and battled hard there for us."

Unfortunately the win came at a heavy cost as top star Taylor Hall was injured and could be out for an extensive period of time.

"I don't know the severity of it but our doctors will look at it and let us know," Oilers coach Dallas Eakins said in the same report. "I will say when a guy doesn't come back in a game it's usually something that's going to be more than a day or two, but I have no idea right now."

The Canadiens are also enduring their own injury troubles as Danny Briere is expected to miss time with a concussion; Brandon Prust will also be out for a few weeks and will join Max Pacioretty, George Parros, Douglas Murray, Davis Drewiske and Alexei Emelin on the list of injured players.

Prediction: Edmonton wins 3-2.
