Last Friday, October 18 Mexican singer Thalía presented her first children's book titled "Chupie, the Binky That Returned Home", a project she was able to launch with the help of the Penguin publishing house.

According to People en Español, the book was written after the singer experienced the tough process of taking away her daughter Sabrina's pacifier. This inspired Thalía to come up with the story about the pacifiers, told through a children's book, which narrates where they come from and where they have to go back one day.

The singer had already commented in recent days about the book, which was illustrated by Ana Martil-Larrañanaga, saying: "This was the story I developed as a personal technique that worked to stop the use of pacifiers".

Besides this book, Thalía also shared her interest in entering the children's market thanks to her experience as a mother, "I also thought about combining it with music, and to have the opportunity to sing to children for the first time, making a children's album with the classic songs I grew up with and that my children like".

The singer shared some pictures with her fans taken during the presentation of her book on her personal Instagram account, thalia.

"We're celebrating! Thalía next to the 'Penguin' Editorial team celebrating the arrival of Chupie, her new children's book, from the presses to their office in New York".

She shared Chupie's Facebook page so her followers become its fans and thanked her editor saying "We made it, Ray Garcia! Thanks for believing in my dream and holding my hand through it! I'm so excited and happy my friend!"

The singer's personal account explains that the renowned publishing house has published other famous children's books among which are "Madeline", "Peter Rabbit" and "Winnie the Pooh" and other famous books like "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".

"Chupie, the Binky That Returned Home" will be released next Thursday, October 31 and can be bought on Amazon.
