An iPhone-only addition in the Facebook update includes editing comments and posts as well as tapping to see changes the user performed.

Facebook has also enabled users to post icons when writing on someone's timeline and add a photo during comments.

The social networking app also included a new feature regarding the user's privacy. According to Facebook, the user the get privacy shortcuts by tapping onto the lock by their name in the main menu.

Facebook version 6.6 also includes general bug fixes, however, it wasn't specified what those improvements were.

The October update comes one month after Facebook refreshed the app to coincide with Apple's new iOS 7 settings.

The September update included support in Czech, Finnish, Polish, Swedish, and traditional Chinese. The update also introduced the icons on the bottom of the app, such as Message and Notifications, which is an iPhone-only feature.

The Facebook app requires iOS 6 or later for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices.
