A new Nokia Lumia device has become the most popular Windows Phone smartphone in the United States (U.S.).
Although the latest data by AdDuplex was not revealed yet, a tease by Alan Mendelevich on Twitter provided a hint that there's a new leader in the Windows Phone chain in the U.S.
"AdDuplex stats teaser #1: There's a new no.1 Windows Phone in [U.S.] and if you've seen the stats from last month you know what it is," tweeted Mendelevich.

In response to Menedelevich's tweet, guesses were made that it could be the Lumia 521 from T-Mobile or the Lumia 520 or Lumia 1020, which the latter two are exclusive to AT&T.
As Latinos Post previously reported, the Lumia 520 was named the most popular Windows Phone 8 smartphone worldwide, according to AdDuplex. The Lumia 920 placed second followed by the Lumia 620.
Mendelevich also revealed there's a new mobile carrier leading the way for Windows Phone 8 smartphone in the U.S. He didn't reveal the carrier yet, but it is likely AT&T with the launch of the Lumia 520, Lumia 925, and Lumia 1020 smartphones.
Latinos Post noted in late August how AT&T was five percentage points behind Verizon Wireless as the top mobile carrier for Windows Phone 8 smartphones with 39 percent to 38 percent. T-Mobile finished third with 19 percent.
He further revealed Windows Phone 8 reached a 70 percent market share when comparing other Windows Phone mobile operating systems.
