Greece will look to book its World Cup spot when it takes on Liechtenstein on Tuesday.

The Greeks have control over their own destiny, to a certain extent. The team remains level on points with Bosnia and Herzegovina for the final spot, but has a significantly smaller goal differential than its closest rivals. How significant? Bosnia has scored 29 goals and conceded six times. Greece has only managed to score 10 goals while conceding only four in nine matches. Greece must not only win on Tuesday, but must pray for a Bosnia and Herzegovina loss or draw against Lithuania.

If Bosnia and Herzegovina wins its match, then the Greeks would need to overcome the 17 goal difference with Bosnia; this is an unlikely scenario.

Liechtenstein could prove to be the best possible rival for the final night of competition for Greece as the team currently has a -19 goal difference and has recorded two draws and seven losses. However, a 17 goal swing in Greece's favor in one match (they have only cracked 10 goals in their first nine matches) is an improbable scenario.

Greece is more likely to finish in a playoff spot, but could face off against the likes of France or even Portugal in a two-legged playoff.

Liechtenstein managed to hold Greece to a 1-0 scoreline in the first meeting between these two teams. Greece is likely to repeat its defeat of Liechtenstein but will need a lot more to have any hopes of qualification.

Prediction: Greece wins 2-0.

Start Time: Kick-off starts at 1 p.m. EST
