The fifth episode of "Mira Quien Baila" was dedicated to Selena and Jenni Rivera.

At the beginning of the show, judge Horacio Villalobos announced that the judges were going to be more drastic in their evaluations because the level of dance was very high.

The first star of the week was Maria Elisa Camargo who received mixed reception. Bianca Marroquin said she was very good and improved a lot from the week before. However, she said that Camargo needed to be more consistent. Ninel Conde agreed that there was a big improvement but said that Camargo needed to be more agile. Villalobos said she needed to be more perfect to win the show.

The next star of the night was Manny Manuel. Conde said that she enjoyed the chemistry he had with his partner. She added that he was very connected with the dance while Villalobos congratulated him for dancing a difficult rhythm. Marroquin, however, disliked the whole thing. She said that he needed to take the advice from the judges and apply it. However, she did say that Manuel was a good partner.

Mane de la Parra later performed with two dancers. Villalobos said that he had a lot of talent, while Conde said that he was a bit too quick in his transitions and felt nervous. Marroquin said he was the surprise of the season but said she wanted more from him. She also added that she wanted him to work on his arms and his legs when dancing.

Malillany Marin followed with a Tango. Marroquin loved the performance and said she had a lot of strength. Conde also said that being nominated the week before helped her grow and helped her release her passion on the dance floor. Villalobos said that he would cut his veins if she was to be eliminated at the end of the show because she was spectacular in the dance.

The next participant was Johnny Lozada. Conde said she was impressed and that the rhythm helped him. Villalobos also enjoyed the performance but he cautioned that Lozada needed to watch his movement. Marroquin also liked his stage presence and enjoyed his work.

After Lozada, Colombian actor Manolo Cardona performed a number. The actor went on the show to promote his new movie "El Cartel de los Sapos," which will be released in the U.S. this weekend.

Marjorie de Sousa was the next dancer. Villalobos said she was excellent while Marroquin started crying and said she was a real dancer and a risk taker. Conde agreed and said Sousa had everything and had grown in every way as a dancer.

The last performer of the night was Pedro Moreno. Marroquin said that Moreno was wonderful and elegant. Conde added that he was sensual and passionate on the stage and had become a great dancer. Villalobos also said Moreno was great and that he was almost perfect.

After the performance it was announced that Yolandita Monge would become the third eliminated participant of the season. Monje decided to abandon the show last week and sent a note this week announcing her retirment. As a result neither Manuel nor Malillany who were nominated the week before were saved.

The judges then decided that Manuel, De La Parra, and Camargo had to dance one more time. Manuel danced a Tango while De la Parra danced ballroom. Camargo then performed an Urban rhythm.

At the end of the show the judges saved De La Parra. As a result Camargo and Manuel became the two nominated stars of the night.
