Morocco and South Africa meet on Friday in an international friendly.

Surprisingly, these two teams do not have an extensive history against one another. This is only their sixth match against one another. The first meeting took place in the 1998 Africa Cup of Nations; South Africa won 2-1. The teams met again on Jan. 30 2002 in the same tournament and Morocco took the match 3-1; Morocco would pull off another victory later that year. In 2004 the teams battled in the Africa Cup of Nations and drew 1-1. They tied 2-2 in the recent 2013 Africa Cup of Nations as well.

South Africa was recently eliminated from the World Cup qualifiers after failing to win the top spot in its group. The team has won three of its last five matches including wins over Lesotho, Burkina Faso and Botswana. However, South Africa was also beaten by Zimbabwe and the reigning African Champion Nigeria in that span.

Morocco was also eliminated from World Cup contention after finishing second in its group behind the Ivory Coast. With the exception of a loss against Burkina Faso in August, Tunisia has managed to go undefeated in four of its last five games. The team defeated Tunisia and Gambia in that span but also drew against Tunisia and the Ivory Coast.

Prediction: Should be a wide open affair; South Africa wins 2-0.

Start Time: The match gets underway at 2 p.m. EST.

The match will not be broadcast online.
