Jonas Brothers Tour 2013 Cancelled Due to 'Deep Rift Within the Band'

Jonas Brothers fans are not having the best day. 

The Jonas Brothers band has canceled its 19-day tour, Entertainment Weekly confirms. 

"There is a deep rift within the band," Jonas Brothers rep Jessie Derris said. "There was a big a disagreement over their music direction." 

The band, which is comprised of Kevin Jonas, 25, Joe Jonas, 24 and Nick Jonas, 21, had an argument over the weekend that led them to cancel their tour. Fans who bought tickets to the concerts will receive refunds. 

The cancellation came two days before their 19-day cross-country tour was to begin. The tour was set to run from Friday, Oct. 11 through Nov. 6. Earlier this year, the band released two new singles, "Poms Poms" and "First Time," for their fifth album, "V." A release date for the album has not been confirmed. 

And it gets worse for fans. The rep said that the band's future "remains to be seen," suggesting that the rift could be permanent. 

Yet, the rep said that Kevin's wife's pregnancy was not a cause for the split, and contends that it was matter of "creative differences." This July, Kevin and his wife, Danielle, announced that they were expecting their first child, which they said will be a girl. 

Although each member has pursued different projects in recent years-- Nick and Joe have pursued solo albums and acting careers and Kevin has a reality show with his wife on E!-- they did not show signs of an impending schism. 

On Tuesday, the trio joined other musical artists, actors, speakers and international activists at We Day Minnesota to educate and empower 18,000 student leaders to work toward bettering the world. The band performed their new single "Pom Pom," and Joe shared experiences from his time with the organization Free The Children, with whom the helped build schools in Kenya. 

The band also showed signs of brotherly love last month when they were spotted partying in Vegas for Nick's 21st birthday celebration. 

So far, there is no word on the band's uncertain future.
