It hasn't been a month since Apple introduced the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s, but talks about the next-generation iPhone are already underway.

In a note to investors on Oct. 7, Jefferies & Co. analyst Peter Misek stated the Cupertino-based organization will increase the display size of the iPhone 6 by 0.8 inches.

Since September 2012, Apple's latest iPhones have a screen size of 4 inches, which was an increase from the 3.5-inches seen on the iPhone 4s.

Meanwhile, DisplaySearch analyst David Hsieh stated Apple is considering two sets of display-size increases for the iPhone 6. Including an improved high-definition resolution, better than the current Retina Display, Hsieh said Apple is testing 4.7-inch panels and 5.7-inch panels with 1,280x720 pixels and 1080p resolution, respectively.

Apple has not commented on the latest rumors for the iPhone 6.

As Latinos Post reported, Apple confirmed 9 million units of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c were sold during its first weekend on Sept. 20. The Cupertino-based organization, however, didn't reveal specific numbers for the iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c.

The two new Apple iPhones launched across Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, United Kingdom and United States.

According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, via Apple Insider, the colorful iPhone 5c outsold the iPhone 5s. Kuo estimated 3.5 million to 4.5 million units of the iPhone 5s were sold. Therefore, the iPhone 5c is projected to have sold 4.5 million to 5.5 million units.
