After the premiere of "Pulling Strings" in the United States, Mexican actor Omar Chaparro is planning to keep working for a long time in Hollywood movies, according to news website La Opinión.

The comedian got a role in the next movie from the producers of "Scary Movie" and "The Conjuring", which will parody the "Fast and Furious" series of movies. In the interview with La Opinión, Chaparro said that "It would be my first officially gringo movie. I think it's a big opportunity. (My English) is a little rusty, but I lived in the U.S. for a year, so it's just a matter of remembering it".

The article explains that the actor highlighted the great work needed to let Latino actors have a bigger presence in Hollywood, Chaparro added "they're looking at us now. They didn't do that before. They start congratulating us. I feel flattered that these things are happening".

La Opinión says that "Pulling Strings" premiered in 387 cinemas in the United States, which allowed it to gross 2.5 million dollars, ranking ninth among top grossing movies for the weekend. The film reach the second place in income with 6,400 dollars less than Alfonso Cuarón's "Gravity", and was produced by Pantelion Films, created by Grupo Televisa and Lionsgate Entertainment.

According to the same source, Grupo Televisa of Mexico shared that for this film they plan to follow the same pattern as Eugenio Derbez' "Instructions Not Included", premiering first in the US and then in Mexico. Unlike the storyline in Derbez' film, where a playboy has to learn to live with a small girl his ex left with him, the movie in which Chaparro and Camil star is based on a love story.

"Pulling Strings" shows the situations faced by "Alejandro Fernández" to get his daughter a visa and, conspiring with his best friend, decides to conquer and seduce "Rachel", a worker in the U.S. Embassy, which provokes many funny developments.
