Fiorentina and Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk will compete for the top spot in Group E of the Europa League on Thursday.

Both sides won their opening match of the tournament. Fiorentina downed Pacos de Ferreira 3-0 while the Ukrainian Dnipro took down Panduril Targu Jiu 1-0.

Many expect Fiorentina to win the group and the Ukrainian club's coach seems to agree with those assertions.

"I expect a tough match with Fiorentina and I think it will be a nice game for the fans,'' said Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk coach Juande Ramos, according to ESPN. ''Although this is a balanced group, I think Fiorentina is favorite to clinch top spot."

He noted that he thinks that his club will be competing with Portuguese side Pacos Ferreira for second place in the group.

"With Pacos Ferreira, we will fight for second place," Ramos noted. "Our aim is to win games and get as far as possible in this competition.''

Despite the opposition's praise for his team, Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella is approaching his team's status with caution.

''Dnipro is an experienced side,'' Montella said, according to ESPN. ''They have many Ukrainian internationals and play very well at home. We cannot underestimate them.''

Fiorentina currently sits in fifth place in the Italian League behind major teams like Roma, Napoli, Juventus and Inter Milan.

Prediction: The Italian side is on the road, which could present some issues for them. Expect a 1-0 win for Fiorentina, as they are the more talented team overall.

Start Time: 3:05 p.m. EST
