The movie "Pulling Strings" will premiere in American cinemas on Friday, October 4. It will star Jaime Camil and Omar Chaparro, who are very excited about it, according to information shared by La Crónica on its website.

The movie, which is titled "Amor A Primera Vista" in Spanish will premiere after Eugenio Derbez' movie "Instructions Not Included" broke records in the US box office. The source published Camil and Chaparro's statements in a press conference in Los Angeles to release more details on "Pulling Strings".

Camil spoke about the success of Mexican cinema owed to Derbez' movie, "What Derbez has done in his directorial debut doesn't commit us and doesn't pressure us. We're very glad for Derbez and his success and if it's influential in bringing more people into cinemas, we'll grab on to the wave and we'll be very happy if it happens".

La Crónica describes "Pulling Strings" as a romantic comedy where Camil plays the protagonist called "Alejandro Fernández" whose mission is to woo an employee of the American Embassy so that she will give her daughter a visa, who had been previously denied one. Chaparro is the protagonist's best ally, as "Canicas" who is also a mariachi.

The handsome actor, who also stars in telenovela "Por Ella Soy Eva", explained that this is a film "made with love and enthusiasm and we want people to have fun and have a good time, to fall in love with us. It's a romantic comedy with all the elements, so you don't have to be American, Mexican or Indian to understand that this is a love letter from Mexico to the world".

The article highlights that comedian Chaparro made evident his happiness and satisfaction with the character he plays, "a month before shooting started I didn't have the role of 'Canicas', I found out, auditioned, and got the role, I was very lucky. From the moment I read the script I saw it was very well thought-out and fell in love with it, and the director allowed me to improvise and add some things that made me even more excited".

Regarding the name of the protagonist and its similarity with the name of a Mexican singer, Jaime Camil said that "Alejandro Fernández laughed about his name being used for the movie", and the actor also added that he enjoys the confusion this causes in audiences and added that "in Mexico it's a very common name".
