Chad Johnson has had the worst week of his life. In just four days the NFL wide receiver has seen himself behind bars, without a job, and now with a reality TV show.

The whole disaster for Johnson, a.k.a. Ochocinco, started when he head butted his wife Evelyn Lozado on Saturday. That led to his being locked up in jail. After that, the Miami Dolphins terminated his contract Saturday night and now VH1 has announced that the couple's show "Ev and Ocho" would not air.

The show was going to document the life of the newly weds of just two months. According to reports from TMZ, Lozado was so afraid of Johnson irate behavior that she ran to a neighbor's home.

Evelyn told TMZ that "It is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well."

The argument between the two was initiated when Lozado found a box of condoms delivered to her husband. When he confronted him over it, Johnson began to get violent.

The Dolphins' choice to get rid of their star wide receiver left the team without much depth at the wide receiver position and some potential turmoil in the locker room. "Ochocinco" was a six-time Pro Bowl receiver and was slated to be a major offensive contributor for the last place squad.

Ochocinco was in the news early in the summer when the New England Patriots announced that they would not resign him. The Patriots stated that the 34-year-old had trouble being disciplined and following the playbook and that he would not work in their locker room.

He came to the Dolphins in hopes of reviving his career, but in his only exhibition game for the team this past Friday, he dropped the only pass thrown to him.

No word on whether Lozado will file for divorce, though that is widely believed to be the most likely scenario. Lozado was previously seen on the TV reality show "Basketball Wives."
