GTA 5 News: New Cheats, Stats Boost Revealed for PS3, Xbox 360 Gameplay [Trailer]

The biggest video game hit in ages, fans of Grand Theft Auto 5 have desperately been trying to uncover all the secrets found within the massive game. While some search for the hidden gems in Los Santos the old-fashioned way, others are hungry for cheat codes to max out their character's stats. Now, new cheats have been revealed for the game, along with new ways to make the characters in the game achieve maximum stats.

If players need a boost to their jumping abilities, players can type: LEFT, LEFT, TRIANGLE, TRIANGLE, RIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, SQUARE, R1, R2 (PlayStation 3) or LEFT, LEFT, Y, Y, RIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, X, RB, RT (Xbox 360). If players want to gain stat advantages for their characters without putting in cheat codes and disabling their trophy progress, players can work on boosting the eight stats found in the game. One of the most critical stats - stamina - will be improved by 1 percent for every 18 yards run as well as even minute spent running or cycling. Strength is similarly improved by playing sports or getting into fist fights. Swimming underwater without scuba gear will increase lung capacity, and practicing stealth techniques increases the stealth stat.

The shooting stat will be improved merely by hitting targets, both human (with head shots boosting the stat higher) and on the practice range. If players spend lots of time in the air or in flight school their flying stat will increase. Players trying to get their driving stat to go up can either perform stunt jumps or tricky maneuvers to gain stat points. Finally, the special stat is improved by driving fast and skillfully (especially with Franklin), taking damage, attacking enemies and performing headshots of foes (especially Michael).
