The two-hour "Grey's Anatomy" season 10 premiere aired on Thursday, taking viewers right back into the storm.

In the opener, Dr. Bailey (Chandra Wilson) ordered Shane (Gaius Charles) to find Webber (James Pickens Jr.), but Shane then lied to Heather (Tina Majorino), telling her that she was the one who was supposed to find the missing doctor. While trying to save Webber, Heather ended up getting electrocuted herself.

Tragically, Heather did not survive, but Webber pulls through due to Bailey's life-saving surgery.

Even though Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Cristina (Sandra Oh) broke up last season, that didn't stop them from getting it on a few more times. Nevertheless, they are still broken up, and neither is happy about it.

Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) are also on the outs after Callie found out that Arizona had an affair. Callie also announced it to their fellow colleagues, publicly shaming Arizona for her transgression. Callie proceeded to take their daughter and move in temporarily with Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Derek (Patrick Dempsey).

Although April (Sarah Drew) made her feelings for Jackson (Jesse Williams) abundantly clear, Jackson reminded her that she didn't want him when she could have easily had him. That prompts April to go back to Matt (Justin Bruening) and propose to him (in private this time), and Matt accepts.

As for what it's in store for future episodes of "Grey's," James Pickens Jr., a.k.a Dr. Webber, gave an inside scoop to TVGuide about what to expect this season.

Pickens said that his character will not deal with his recovery well. "His physical presence is no longer what it was. He doesn't deal with it well. The physical manifestations of being electrocuted are something he has to deal with," Pickens said. "There's a whole element of self-pity, fear and anger and all the ranges of emotions folks have after something that's so traumatic. It's going to be a journey for him in terms of dealing with that and making this uphill climb back to where he feels that he is vital again."

Despite the tension between Webber and Bailey, they will get back to a mentor-mentee relationship.

"She looks at him [Webber] as a mentor figure, someone that she tried to emulate her whole career and put a lot of confidence and trust in over the year," Pickens said. "When she feels he threw her under the bus, she lashes out and she regrets that. That's why she's so diligent and adamant in trying to do everything she can to bring him back to some semblance of what he once was. Through that, the healing process will begin for both of them. I'm pretty sure they find out how much they do count on one another and how much mutual respect they have for one another."

As for Derek and Meredith, they will both be in the same boat: loving the kids, but missing work. Derek will dive back into work with a a new brain mapping project with Callie. He and the rest of the board members will also be facing financial difficulties after the devastating storm, and will try to secure the funds needed to keep the hospital running in top shape.

Cristina broke up with Owen last season over the issue of having (or rather, not having) children. This season will explore the aftermath of the breakup. "We're going to watch them grapple with what it means to have broken up at the end of the season and what that means for their future," showrunner Shonda Rhimes said. "For both of them, the hard part is that they love each other. They want very, very different things, but they love each other. If only she'd want to have babies, or if only he'd give up wanting kids, they'd be fine." And as previously mentioned, Cristina will be leaving Grey Sloan Memorial next season, although it has not been revealed how or why her character will exit.

On top of April's complicated love life, she will be studying for her medical boards, which she will take again this season.  "She's really going to come into her own as a total kick a-- trauma attending," Drew said. "We're going to see her interact more with the interns, and she'll have much more of a teacher role."

As for the young interns, this season will seem them figuring out the departments they want to work in.

"Grey's" airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. on ABC.
