It looks like Canadian Samsung Galaxy Galaxy S3 owners will have to wait a little longer to get their Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. According to Samsung Canada's Enterprise Business Division vice president Paul Brannan, the upgrade will roll out in Canada later than the expected October release date.

Brannan made the remarks at the Canadian Wireless Trade Show and website Mobile Syrup estimates that the Canadian rollout of the Android 4.3 Galaxy S3 update might come out in November. Samsung Canada stressed the need to provide the latest Premium Suite in the upgrade so that the device can interact with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch.

International Samsung Galaxy S3 owners, however, can expect an earlier rollout for their Android 4.3 update. Samsung announced at an early September conference that it would be upgrading the Galaxy S3 smartphone, along with the newer Galaxy S4, to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean in October. This time frame, of course, doesn't apply to carrier-tied devices in places like the United States, where carriers can take months to approve and distribute the firmware. With that being said, Canadians and Americans alike hopefully won't have to wait past the end of the year.

A recent report revealed that Samsung has already begun Android 4.3 testing for the Galaxy S3. Samsung has placed special emphasis on Android 4.3 updates because of its ability to interact with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch via Bluetooth 4.0 LE, which can only be found on Android 4.3.

Samsung's other 2012 flagship phone, the Galaxy Note 2, is also expected to get Android 4.3 before the end of the month.
