In the middle of the debate between President Obama and Republicans, who are trying to cut funds from the Health Care law known as "Obamacare" contained in the health reform of the United States, the White House announced that in mid-October Hispanic consumers will be able to register in their language.

According to El Nuevo Herald, Hispanics will be able to register for the health reform at the website cuidadodesalud.gov. Likewise, the White House added that an application form in Spanish will be available at the website healthcare.org.

According to information shared by the same newspaper, the government of the United States estimates that almost 10 million Hispanics that currently don't have any medical insurance will be able to obtain insurance policies at accessible prices, thanks to the reform promoted by President Obama.

The measure boosted by the President establishes that medical coverage will begin on Jan 1, 2014 for those who sign up for it before Dec 15 this year. After that date, Americans will have to pay fines if they do not possess medical insurance, and insurance companies will not be able to reject clients whose health is not optimal nor charge them extra fees.

Republican Attempts to Cut Funds for the Reform Continue

Meanwhile, in the U.S. House of Representatives, a fight to impede the funding of the reform proposed by the American President continues.

President Obama affirmed that he will fight to keep the Republicans from being successful in their attempts to cut funding for the Health Care law. Previously, they threatened closure of the Federal Government, threats he described on Thursday as "irresponsible" and "desperate," as quoted newspaper La Raza.

"No Congress before this one in the history of the United States has been so irresponsible as to threaten with a suspension of payments. The closer we get, the more irresponsible detractors become. Republicans are afraid that it (the health reform) won't fail, they are afraid of it being successful," the President said in a speech to students in Maryland.
