"Today, one of our chickens forgot to put a shell around her egg," posted Warlach on Imgur.
The user was surprised to see an egg without a shell which he believed was laid by one of their chickens. At first glance, the egg looks just like a smaller egg, but closer inspection reveals that the odd one actually does not have a shell. Warlach shed light on the shell-less egg on the photo, which according to him, only amplified its weirdness.
The egg without a shell came with some scratches on one side. The image poster believes that the chicken may have walked over the egg - judging from the patterns etched onto it. The other side was smooth but had whitish covering, believed to be what the beginning of shell formation.
The mysterious egg is also said to have a water balloon feel to it. It was able to withstand pinching and poking. Further poking peeled the soft covering but left the egg white and the yolk still intact.
