Have you ever wondered how #hashtags would actually fair out in real life? Check out this video of Justin and Jimmy taking this metadata tag offline.

For years now, the deadly pound sign has plagued social networking sites - from posts, to comments and some even attempt to use them in messages! It is undeniable that the overuse of hashtags rendered posts and comments rather lengthy. The overuse also led to the often improper mash-up of the English language and the pound sign making statements read and sound ridiculous.

Almost instantly, everyone wanted to use #hashtags and set topics #trending. Unfortunately, not everyone knows what hashtags are for nor do they know the logic behind having to place the overused pound sign before a word or a phrase.
