Revived '80s soap "Dallas" is adding a new cast member to join in on the juicy drama.

So who will be sporting a cowboy hat and sauntering into the oil-rich city? The character has not yet been cast, but the character, named Heather, will be a "freckle-faced tomboy" who works as a ranch hand, TVLine reports. Heather left behind a string of bad relationship choices, but is still drawn to the bad boys. (Hint: J.R. is one such bad boy.)

There have also been rumors swirling that Priscilla Presley, who played Jenna Wade in the original series from 1983 to 1988, would join the revived TNT series.

Priscilla Presley posted on Facebook over the summer, "For all of those who mentioned that you would like to see me on 'Dallas,' thank you very much for that support! We will see what happens..."

Executive producer Cynthia Cidre told TVGuide that Priscilla may return, although it is not definite. "It's on our [planning] wall, and we're thinking about it seriously," Cidre said.

Yet, fans shouldn't worry that Jenna's return will cause problems for Bobby (Patrick Duffy) and his wife, Ann (Brenda Strong). "I like all conflict," Cidre said, "but my heart is with Jock and Miss Ellie, and Bobby and Ann."

The new version of "Dallas" focuses on the next generation of the wealthy Ewing family. The current series focuses on the clashes between cousins J.R. Ewing and Christopher Ewing over the family's vast oil fortune. Although there are new young characters played by Josh Henderson (J.R.), Jordana Brewster (Elena) and Jesse Metcalfe (Christopher), some actors from the original series are also featured cast members, such as Patrick Duffy, Mitch Pileggi and Larry Hagman, who reprised his famous role as J.R. until his death last year.

The original series aired from 1978-1991, and enjoyed immense popularity.

The third season premiere of TNT's "Dallas" is slated to air in early 2014.
