While Samsung has given its Galaxy S4 customers a definite timeline for when they can expect Android 4.3, HTC has been a bit quieter on the update front. If one insider is correct, however, then the HTC One Android 4.3 update should begin rolling out in late September or early October.

Well-known HTC modder and insider LlabTooFeR had this to say Monday on Twitter in response to a question by a fellow Tweeter on when the HTC One would receive Android 4.3:

This isn't the first time we've heard of the dates in relation to the HTC One Android 4.3 update. LlabTooFeR himself has mentioned the same timeline before, and some snapshots from around the technosphere indicate that Android 4.3 builds are already leaking onto some devices. It shouldn't be long before the HTC One is running the latest version of Android.

In a little twist of fate, it looks like U.S. owners of the HTC One might be the first ones to receive Android 4.3. While international variants usually get an update far before American models, this time around U.S. carrier-tied HTC Ones should be the first. This is because unlike international models, the U.S. HTC Ones will get Android 4.3 with Sense 5.0, the current version of Sense on the HTC One. International variants are expecting Android 4.3 with Sense 5.5, an upgrade which HTC is still presumably polishing up. There's no word on when Sense 5.5 will make its way Stateside.

Most of Android 4.3's improvements lie under the hood, and users most likely won't see a huge difference until Android 4.4 KitKat releases.
