A powerful tornado left two people dead and 64 injured on Sunday, Sept 22, in Taquarituba Province, located 320 kilometers from Sao Paulo, according to news site Publimetro.

After the severe weather, power and phone services were out, and the authorities haven't been able to fully restore them. Among the deceased was a truck driver who was driving workers from rural areas to the city. The man was identified as Jaime Francisco Da Silva, who was inside his vehicle when it was swept away by the tornado.
