Young actor Sebastián Zurita will have a starring role in Telemundo's new telenovela "La Impostora" after spending several years outside show business, according to TVNotas.

The handsome Mexican telenovela actor now joins the family of TV network Telemundo thanks to the lack of work opportunities in his home country after his participation in Televisa's "En Nombre Del Amor," in which he starred.

According to the story, Zurita has not received any calls to work in Mexican television since 2008, and so he made the decision to join Telemundo with a starring role in "La Impostora," where he will share credits with actress Lisette Morelos.

Yahoo also explains that Zurita's decision was also caused by a rejection from producer "El Güero" Castro after he didn't allow Zurita to star in Televisa's "Abismo de Pasión" because his girlfriend, Angelique Boyer, had been Sebastián's girlfriend in the past. The role went to David Zepeda, leaving Zurita off of the small screen.

The telenovela "La Impostora" will also star Christian Bach, Sebastián's mother, who will be the villain in the telenovela written by Sebastián Arrau, a Chilean whose story takes place in Playa del Carmen and focuses on the life of Blanca Guerrera, a restaurant worker who dreams of being a great actress.
