Rafa Benitez's Napoli will look to make its mark in the Champions League when it takes on Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.

Benitez is coming off a season in which he led Chelsea to a Europa League Championship. He has now taken over a Napoli team that is fancied as one of the top sides in the tournament. However, Benitez's first test could help define the kind of team Napoli will be throughout this tournament.

Dortmund is coming off a second place finish in the UCL and is still considered a strong threat to win the tournament's 2013-14 version.

"It will be a great challenge for us. Borussia [Dortmund] are a top club, they reached the final last season and they play great football," said Benitez, according to ESPN.

Benitez also noted that the rest of Group F will be a tremendous challenge as he will have to take on Arsenal and Marseille to qualify for the knockout stages.

"We faced Arsenal recently in London for the Emirates Cup, so we know them well. They have a great manager who is very experienced at European level," he said.

Benitez was also confident about his chances against the French side in the group.

"Against Marseille, I had my first success in Europe, the [2004] UEFA Cup final with Valencia. It won't be easy in their stadium because their fans are very passionate," he said.

Prediction: Borussia Dortmund poses a tremendous test for Napoli who will at least have the comfort of playing at home. Expect a 2-2 draw from this game.

Start Time: 2:45 p.m. EST
