Excitement buzzes in the air. Not only is holiday season right around the corner, but the arrival of fall marks a time for new opportunities, new winter love and, of course, new television. It’s that time of year where the biggest shows make their return. With winter looming in the horizon, TV fanatics are already plotting their weekly schedules, leaving ample time for evening spent snuggled under blankets in front of the television. Now as the final weeks before fall TV onslaught begins, networks are unveiling their exclusive sneak peeks into the year’s most coveted shows.
For "Castle" fans, the hour has arrived. A brand new sneak peek into the upcoming sixth season doesn’t show Beckett’s full reaction to Castle’s proposal, but still whets our appetites for what’s to come. The promo begins with Castle’s proposal, followed by an exuberant kiss, a happy yet flustered Beckett, and a confused Castle. It ends on a rather ominous note, however, when Beckett drops the bomb: “There’s something I have to tell you…” End scene. Check out the exclusive sneak peek here.
If you think suspense is enough to induce cardiac arrest, the premiere episode will leave you dead where you stand. The episode hits a time jump, distracting fans from the pressing marriage proposal on the table and addressing other riveting plot lines that make for a strong premiere. Fans can expect a major character to take several bullets to the chest, a major and devastating car crash, Tory's return, Alexis' new boyfriend and a cliffhanger ending that puts one character's life in utter danger.
So while the principle issue at hand remains Beckett's ultimatum, there's plenty more on the horizon of the new season of "Castle." Let's not dwell on one single detail, no matter how pivotal that detail may be.
