Manchester United will look to get back on track when it takes on Crystal Palace on Saturday at the Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are off to a slow start in 2013-14 season following their championship run last year. The team opened the year with a 4-1 win against Swansea City but drew 0-0 against Chelsea and lost at Anfield against Liverpool in their most recent match.

Crystal Palace is a newly promoted team and it is expected that United should easily beat them at home.

However, the team will have to do that without Wayne Rooney. The Englishman is currently injured and is expected to miss Saturday's match and the Champions League bout on Tuesday. He does hope to make it back by next weekend when United takes on rivals Manchester City.

The team will also have to deal with the nagging issue that is Shinji Kagawa. The Japanese international has not gotten much playing time during his tenure with the club and has already started stirring up some controversy concerning his status with the team.

"It is frustrating not playing but to score a goal like that gives me confidence. Hopefully I can take that back to my club with me and things will improve," he said, according to ESPN. "It's hard not playing regularly. Some days the frustration is worse than others -- it comes in waves."

Crystal Palace is coming off a 3-1 home win against Sunderland two weeks ago and are looking to prove that they belong in the top league.

Prediction: Manchester United exerts its power with a 5-2 win; Robin Van Persie scores three goals.

Start Time: 7:45 a.m. EST
