Larry Fong will serve as cinematographer on "Batman vs. Superman."

Earlier Tuesday, Superherohype.com reported that the director of photography listed himself as cinematographer for the film on his resume at the Worldwide Production Agency. However, it was quickly removed.

The cinematographer credited the film as being titled "Batman vs. Superman," which immediately brought up speculation about whether that would be the title of the film.

The IMDB page is now titled "Batman vs. Superman" and also has Fong as the cinematographer.

The question that will circulate is why it was removed from the resume and if Warner Bros. requested the removal. Additionally it will be interesting to see if Warner Bros. will make an official announcement about the title.

Fong has worked with the new movie's director Zack Snyder on several of his films. He has served as cinematographer on "Watchmen," "300" and "Sucker Punch." He also worked on J.J Abrams' "Super 8" and Louis Leterrier's "Now You See Me." The cinematograher has also worked on various TV shows including "Cut Throat" and "Anatomy of Hope."

"Batman vs. Superman" is currently in pre-production with Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder slated to produce. The film will star Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne. The film's music will be written by Hans Zimmer, while casting will be done by Kristy Carlson. The movie will begin shooting at the beginning of the year in Detroit. Warner Bros. will release "Batman vs. Superman" on July 17, 2015.
