Sprint has entered the LG G2 fray, and while not setting a release date yet, Big Yellow has said that you can pre-order the LG G2 starting on October 11 and the wireless company will give you a free "Quick Window" case, which is worth about $50.

The price for the LG G2 on Sprint will be $199 with a two-year contract, according to AndroidCentral, which is in the same general price range as the two bigs, AT&T and Verizon, though Sprint is sweetening the deal with the case.

LG Electronics' newest flagship smartphone, which was unveiled at a big New York City event a few weeks ago, is launching on all major U.S. carriers like T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon in the coming weeks. The handset comes with some competitive specs and features, which LG Electronics hopes will put it in the running with other major releases expected this season, like the new iPhone and the just-unveiled Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

The LG G2 comes with a 5.2-inch screen, which the company says is the perfect size for the average hand. In keeping with it's "built with you in mind" philosophy (i.e., marketing strategy) the LG G2 has a unique "Rear Key" volume rocker, which LG Electronics put right on the back of the smartphone, where your pointer finger rests while talking on the phone.

Other specs for the premium smartphone include a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, clocked at 2.26GHz with an Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The LG G2 is the first smartphone - but certainly not the last - to boast the new quad core Snapdragon 800 monster. The LG G2 comes with 32GB of internal storage, but does not have a microSD card slot for expanding your storage by up to 64GB more. The device has a 13-megapixel main camera, which puts it in direct competition with the Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3, and other top-of-the-line smartphones and phablets. It also has a front-facing camera.

Finally, the LG G2 comes with Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 installed, which is one spec where the new LG Electronics flagship is a little deficient, since every other new Android smartphone is launching with Android 4.3, and Google is expected to announce a new Nexus 5 device soon, which will undoubtedly come with Android 4.4 KitKat right out of the box.
