Nokia Lumia 1020 Price Amazon: 41MP Windows Phone 8 Smartphone Price Cut to $199.99 Following AT&T Reduction [Video]

The Nokia Lumia 1020's price has dropped on Amazon.com.

The Windows Phone 8 device with the 41-megapixel sensors has a starting price of $199.99 for consumers agreeing to sign a two-year contract with exclusive carrier AT&T.

The $199.99 price tag for the Lumia 1020 on Amazon is valid within the individual plan and family plan. In addition, the smartphone's new price is eligible for AT&T customers who want to upgrade their device or add a new line of service.

Amazon's "Without a Service Plan" cost for the Lumia 1020 is $669.99.

As Latinos Post reported, Amazon had the Lumia 1020 priced at $249.99 as recent as early August.

The Amazon price drop comes as AT&T officially reduced the 41-megapixel-sensor camera phone's cost to $199.99 as well.

AT&T's price reduction continued with the carrier's "AT&T Next" plan. The mobile carrier had originally priced the Windows Phone 8 smartphone for $33 with AT&T Next, but the price has been cut to $27 for the next 20 months.

The Lumia 1020 launched exclusively for AT&T on July 26 for $299.99. The camera phone can be purchased on AT&T's official website or at the Microsoft Store.

The Lumia 1020's features include a 4.5-inch screen with 1,280x768 pixels covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The new Windows Phone 8 device has 32GB of internal storage for 2GB of RAM. The device includes a front-facing camera with 1.2 megapixels, and also packs a 2,000mAh battery.
