First place is on the line when Cameroon and Libya face off in a crucial World Cup qualifying match on Sunday.

The match will determine which of the two teams continues into the third round to face off against another group winner in a two-legged playoff.

Cameroon currently holds the lead with 10 points in five games while Libya sits one point behind with nine. All Cameroon needs is one point from the game to secure the top spot as it would give the team 11 points and leave Libya with 10.

Libya desperately needs a win and the three points on the table. Heading into this final round of qualifiers, four teams held tight leads for first place over their immediate rivals. Ethiopia had a two point lead over South Africa in Group A, while Tunisia had a one point advantage over second place Cape Verde in Group B. In Group D, Ghana had a one point lead on second place Zambia and Congo had a one point lead on Burkina Faso in Group E. Group F's Nigeria had a two point lead on second place Malawi, while Senegal had a one point advantage on Uganda in Group J. Of those matchups, four teams held on to first place and two managed to blow their leads. This would indicate that Cameroon has the decided advantage in the matchup.

Of course one must factor in that Libya defeated Cameroon 2-1 in their first matchup.

Prediction: Cameroon is at home where it has performed admirably in qualifiers. The team has two wins in two home games and will add a third when it defeats Libya 2-1.

Start Time: 10:30 a.m. EST

The match will not be broadcast online or on television.
