Tunisia and Cape Verde will battle for first place in Group B when they face off in the CAF World Cup Qualifiers on Friday.

Tunisia currently leads Group B with 11 points thanks to three wins and two draws in five matches. Meanwhile, Cape Verde trails them by just two points and has earned three wins and two losses in competition. The winner of the group moves on to the third round of qualifiers to take on another group winner in a two-legged playoff. The winner of that contest heads to Brazil next summer for the finals.

Tunisia only needs a draw in this match to earn the third round berth; Cape Verde can only qualify with a win.

Tunisia started its tournament run with a 3-1 win over Equatorial Guinea. In its second match the team took down Cape Verde on the road 2-1 before defeating Sierra Leone 3-1. However, in the rematch with Sierra Leone Tunisia drew 2-2. In its most recent game, Tunisia drew 1-1 with Equatorial Guinea.

Cape Verde's road has been completely different. The team lost 2-1 in its opener against Sierra Leone and then lost 2-1 against Tunisia. The team then drew 3-3 against Equatorial Guinea, but a late ruling by FIFA awarded Cape Verde with a 3-0 victory. In the rematch with Guinea, Cape Verde won 2-1 but more foul play from its opponents resulted in yet another 3-0 victory for Cape Verde. In its latest game, Cape Verde took down Sierra Leone 1-0.

Prediction: Tunisia is the favored side and should win 2-1.

Start Time: 2:45 p.m. EST

The match will not be live streamed in the USA.
