Just a month after the "Samsung Unpacked 2013: Episode 2" event, where the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear were unveiled to the public, T-Mobile will be releasing both in the U.S.

The specific release date is October 2, where T-Mobile will launch both the Galaxy Gear and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, a move that, so far, is unique to T-Mobile. AT&T is launching the Galaxy Note 3 a day before T-Mobile, but will only have the Galaxy Gear "in coming weeks" according to SamMobile.

The Galaxy Note 3 is the newest flagship phablet from Samsung, which is launching in 149 countries around the world in September before it gets its release date in the U.S. and Japan.

A couple variants of the Galaxy Note 3 are launching in the next few weeks, depending on the market you're in. All of them feature a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display at Full High Definition resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will come either with a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, clocked at 2.3GHz, or a Samsung-made Octa core Exynos 5420 system, clocked at 1.8GHz.

In either case, the Galaxy Note 3 comes with 3GB of RAM, which is a first for a mobile device that fits in your pocket. The Galaxy Note 3 comes with Android 4.3 and a 13-megapixel camera with a 4K video recording capability. The cheapest incarnation of the Galaxy Note 3 comes with 32GB of memory with a microSD card slot for additional expansion, and WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and of course LTE speed.

The whole device is powered by a 3,200 mAh battery that is rated to last over 13 hours of 1080p HD video playback on its huge screen, so you can bet it will make it through the normal work day.

T-Mobile will be offering the Galaxy Note 3 with a two-year contract for just under $200, which is the best price we've seen so far.
