A new component of the rumored iPhone 5S has appeared on the Internet ahead Apple's Sept. 10 special event.

The French website NoWhereElse posted components of what might be the iPhone 5S' Home Button.

The home button reportedly sports the fingerprint sensor for the upcoming Apple smartphone.

An identifier can be seen on the component, which MacRumors noted follows "Apple's usual part number scheme," with "821-2092-01."

"The flex cable part is far more complex than that seen in the iPhone 5 or even the alleged iPhone 5S part leaked last month, containing a new square surface as well as several other components that may be related to fingerprint sensor functionality," reported MacRumors' Eric Slivka.

The rumored addition of the fingerprint sensor is further corroborated with Apple's purchase of the Delaware-based AuthenTec. As Latinos Post reported last July, AuthenTec is known for its fingerprint devices for both commercial and governmental use. One of its customers included Apple's rival Samsung. Another customer of AuthenTec is Hewlett-Packard, which offers some of their notebooks with a fingerprint scanner.

Meanwhile, Mobilespie posted a similar component, however, it might be for the low-cost iPhone 5C instead.

As Latinos Post reported, Apple has confirmed an event for Sept. 10. The event was announced on Sept. 3 with the tagline "This should brighten everyone's day."

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in his latest note, stated the upcoming iPhone 5S will be available in a gold casing. He also projected Apple will offer a larger 128GB storage.

"We reckon A7 will upgrade memory bandwidth spec to LPDDR3 from LPDDR2 adapted by A6, in an effort to improve system performance," Kuo added. "Since Apple is in charge of both hardware and OS design, it is capable of minimalizing memory capacity at an optimized state. Therefore, A7's RAM will likely be unchanged at 1GB."
