Hear them roar. Charming’s most notorious motorcycle gang, which is anything but the word ‘charming,’ is making their loud return. With no regard for their surrounding neighbors, they continue to steal the limelight. They’re the baddest around. Everyone wants to be them. No one wants to get in their way. It’s an empowering position to be in, but unfortunately for them, despite their proud and mighty return, SAMCRO is going to wake up to nothing but a world of hurt as Season 6 takes off.

With Tara and Clay in prison and the club’s inner relations at their boiling point, Jax and the rest of the club members have a long and treacherous road ahead of them. Nothing is in order, and it’s going to stay that way. Earlier rumors hinted at a rather trying premiere episode for Jax and his family, and the same can now be said of subsequent episodes.

As Michael Ausiello from TVLine recently indicated via Twitter, the opening sequence of episode 3 alone is enough to make your jaw drop to the floor and your hair stand on end. Double whammy. Although curious fans inquired, Ausiello had little to share, saying, “All I’ll say is it involves Donal Logue’s vengeance-seeking lawman.”

Logue plays Lee Toric on the show, a former U.S. Marshal who was forced to retire due to his history of brutality. He’s had a history with the Sons in the past, so whatever vengeance he has, it’s sure to be bad news for SAMCRO.

Most fans, however, are more concerned with how Jax and Tara will adapt to their new circumstances, and Kurt Sutter hints that things won't be pretty. He tells fans that Jax won't be visiting Tara at all while she's locked up, although it won't be for lack of trying, according to TVLine. When they do eventually see each other, anticipate "a deep sense of sadness on both their parts," says Sutter, who describes the reunion as "loving but very sad."

"They've been through so much already, and how many more times can you say, 'I'm sorry'" Sutter continues. "How many times can you say, 'It's going to get better?' How many times can you say, 'It'll change?' It's almost like there's a certain amount that they both are aware of."

"Sons of Anarchy" will return to FX September 10.
