"Covert Affairs'" fourth season is full of surprises, one being the return of Eyal (Oded Fehr). Fans will be kept in the dark about when Eyal will return, so his reemergence will take viewers-- and Annie (Piper Perabo)-- by surprise.

Piper Perabo told TVLine that Eyal's reappearance will be quite a shock. "Something happens, a door opens and it's him - and when this door opens, you are not thinking about him at all. There is no reason he should even know where she is," Perabo revealed.

Perabo said that she was a little preoccupied when reading the script, and was therefore stunned to see Eyal suddenly pop into the scene.

"It's so shocking when he appears," Perabo said. "For me to be reading one of the scripts and be so like, 'W-w-what?' is really fun."

Some new characters will also be joining the cast along with the old. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Emma Fitzpatrick will be joining the cast of "Covert Affairs" as Violet Hughes, a college student who has family in the clandestine services. Annie will contact Violet for some important information, and will repay her by offering some sage advice.

Fitzpatrick is known for her role as Sean Parker's girlfriend in the Oscar-nominated film "The Social Network," and has appeared on "CSI" and the science-fiction feature "In Time."

In the latest episode of "Covert Affairs," Annie (Piper Perabo) tried to infiltrate a top-secret FBI investigation into a murder of a colleague, Sam, who was killed by Annie after they got into an altercation. Annie tried to get her hands on the flash drive that holds incriminating evidence that was found on Sam's body after his death.

In the episode, Henry (Gregory Itzin) also asked Annie (Piper Perabo) to leave the CIA and join his new company, Lexington Global. Annie refused, most likely because of her relationship with Auggie (Christopher Gorham). Yet, Henry then hinted that Auggie's ex-wife-- who he claimed was dead-- is actually alive.

Auggie was also seen meeting with a mysterious woman in the parking lot, raising speculation that she could be his ex-wife.

Find out what happens on "Covert Affairs" on Tuesdays at 9 p.m on the USA Network.
