Recently, a couple of pictures of a blue HTC One have leaked online, from two different sources. The recent pictures of the cobalt HTC One have bolstered rumors that the device with that unique hue will be headed to store shelves soon. It's just a question of which store shelves.

PhoneArena had ventured a guess on Wednesday that the Blue HTC One would be hitting Verizon at the same time as the Moto X and a few other handsets - that is, today, August 29. But we were skeptical of that time frame, and rightly so, as the blue HTC One is nowhere to be seen as of Thursday.

However, that same tech site is giving it another try, this time with an exclusive piece of evidence submitted by an anonymous tipster.

It now looks like the HTC One blue-hue will be hitting Sprint, if the leaked screenshot of the Sprint internal listing is accurate and real. And we have a release date to go with it as well - September 10.

If correct, this means that Sprint is really banking on the color spectrum to sell HTC Ones. Recently, Big Yellow released a red variant of the HTC One as well. So with the possible addition of a blue handset by the Huge Taiwanese Company, Sprint would have the full spectrum of HTC Ones available - original (silver), black, blue and red.

Right now Sprint is selling the HTC One for $99.99 with a two-year contract, according to PhoneArena.

The HTC One is HTC's flagship phone of this year, featuring a 4.7-inch Super LCD3 touchscreen display with 1080 x 1920p resolution, giving the screen an amazing pixel density of 468 pixels per inch. The device is powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, clocked at 1.7GHz with 2GB of RAM. It comes in 32GB or 64GB storage, without a microSD card slot because of its aluminum solid-body chassis. The HTC One has Android 4.2.2 on some models, along with the HTC Sense UI, and all HTC handsets are likely to get an upgrade to Android 4.3 in the coming months.
