Five teams qualified for the Champions League on Tuesday. Here is a breakdown of how the second leg of the playoffs played out.

Arsenal vs. Fenerbahce

Arsenal entered the matchup with a convincing 3-0 lead and only needed a solid defensive effort to capture a berth in the next round. Instead, the team put on a stunning offensive display that nearly replicated their performance last week. Aaron Ramsey continued his tremendous start to the season with two goals to give Arsenal a 5-0 aggregate victory.

Austria Vienna vs. Dinamo Zagreb

Austria Vienna entered the game in complete control with a 2-0 lead and a home match beckoning. Four minutes into the match an own goal gave the Austrian side a 3-0 aggregate lead and it seemed that the team would be on its way to its first ever Champions League appearance. And then it all went wrong. Dinamo Zagreb scored two goals before half-time and added a third in the 71st minute to tie the aggregate at 3-3 and seemingly qualify on away goals. Nothing more could go wrong right? Wrong. Austria fought back and managed a late goal to take back a 4-3 aggregate lead and book a spot in the Champions League. A late red card against Zagreb dashed the team's hopes of qualifying.

FC Basel vs. Ludogorets Razgrad

FC Basel entered the match with a comfortable 4-2 aggregate lead and continued to dominate its opponents with a 2-0 win at home.

Steaua Bucharest vs. Legia Warsaw

Both teams battled to a 1-1 draw in the opener. Bucharest ran out to a 2-0 lead in the first nine minutes of play but then saw its lead dismantle in the waning seconds of the match. Fortunately the two away goals favored Bucharest who is now through.

PAOK vs. Schalke 04

Many felt that the Germany side let a big game get away when it drew 1-1 with PAOK in its home leg. However, the team managed a tremendous 3-2 away win to qualify for the tournament once again.
