The Lumia 710, which runs on the Windows Phone 8 mobile platform, accounted for more than half of the statistics collected by AdDuplex. The Lumia 710 received 51.3 percent of the Windows Phone market share, which is 26.4 percent of the second place contender.

A Windows Phone 8 smartphone landed at second place with the Lumia 620, garnering 24.9 percent of the data collected on Aug. 14.

In third place, the Lumia 900 finished with 18 percent.

With a modest lead, the Lumia 920 accounted for 3.8 percent, ahead of the remaining four Windows Phone smartphones that received less than 1 percent.

Only one non-Nokia Lumia device managed to rank in Argentina's top 10: the LG Optimus 7 received 0.6 percent of the Windows Phone data, narrowly edging the 0.4 percent for the Lumia 520.

Coincidentally, the Lumia 520 was ranked as the top Windows Phone 8 device worldwide. As Latinos Post reported, the Lumia 520 topped the chart with 27 percent ahead of the Lumia 920's 17 percent.

The AdDuplex Windows Phone figures were collected from 1,009 Windows Phone apps running AdDuplex SDK v.2 on Aug. 14.
