In a tweet posted on Aug. 25, Morris tweeted, "Sources are telling me the new iPhone's A7 chip is running at about 31 [percent] faster than A6. I'm hearing it's very fast."

A second tweet added that a second chip might be set for motion tracking. "Should be an interesting camera upgrade," noted Morris.

The tweet was a statement echoed about Apple's Jony Ive in a Bloomberg report.

"Longer term, Ive also has shown interest in altering how people control their computers," wrote Bloomberg's Adam Satariano. "He has met with makers of gesture technology that lets people navigate their gadgets by moving their hands -- without touching the screen, said a personal familiar with those interactions."

According to 9to5Mac, Apple has been testing a 64-bit A7 chip processors, based on independent claims.

9to5Mac's Mark Gurman reported, "It's unclear if 64-bit will make the cut, but it's been in testing. We're told that the 64-bit processing will assist the A7 chip in making animations, transparencies, and other iOS 7 graphical effects appear much more smoothly than on existing iOS Devices..."

As Latinos Post reported, the next Apple smartphone, whether known as the iPhone 5S or iPhone 6, is expected to make its debut during a special event on Sept. 10, and will reportedly go on sale Sept. 20.
