Hit CIA drama "Covert Affairs" will be adding Emma Fitzpatrick to the cast for an upcoming story arc.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fitzpatrick, who had a supporting role as Sean Parker's girlfriend in the Oscar-nominated film "The Social Network," will guest star in an upcoming episode. Fitzpatrick will play Violet Hughes, an innocent undergrad who has family in the clandestine services. Annie (Piper Perabo) will reach out to Violet for some pivotal information, and repays the favor by offering her advice.

Fitzpatrick is repped by ICM Partners and The Schiff Company. She has also had guest appearances on "CSI" and the science-fiction feature "In Time."

In the last installment of "Covert Affairs," Annie (Piper Perabo) tried to infiltrate a top-secret FBI investigation into a murder of a colleague, Sam. The colleague was murdered by Annie after they got into an altercation, meaning the DNA found on the body could implicate her in the murder. Annie tried to get her hands on the flash drive that holds incriminating evidence that was found on Sam's body after his death.

In the episode, Henry (Gregory Itzin) also wanted Annie (Piper Perabo) to leave the CIA and join his new company, Lexington Global. Annie refused, most likely because of her relationship with Auggie (Christopher Gorham). Yet, Henry then hinted that Auggie's ex-wife-- who he claimed was dead-- is actually alive.

"The last few days, I've learned quite a bit about Auggie's ex, Helen Hanson," Henry told Annie. "Ask him if he's talked to her recently."

"What do you mean? She's dead." Annie said.

"Is she?" Henry responded.

Auggie was also seen meeting with a mysterious woman in the parking lot, raising speculation that she could be his ex-wife.

If Auggie is lying to Annie, it could definitely stir up some trouble in paradise.

"Covert Affairs" airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on the USA Network.
