Perrie was born Perrie Louise Edwards on July 10, 1993 in South Shields. Her parents, Debra and Alexander are both singers. She first made it to national television when she was 17 by auditioning on the X Factor UK 2011. She is part of a group named Little Mix along with Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Ann Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall. The group released their first album, DNA in 2012 with 12 tracks. The album sold 500 copies in just 13 seconds at Amazon - beating the previous record set by now fiancee's group, One Direction.
