Annie (Piper Perabo) in "Covert Affairs" is known for being able to finagle her way out of a jam. Annie may now be involved in her stickiest situation yet: murder.

The body of Annie's fellow CIA operative-- and Henry's (Gregory Itzin) mole-- Seth Newman (Tim Griffin) washed up in the Potomac. Seth's body appears after dying weeks before in an altercation with Annie. This causes obvious problems for not only Annie, but for Auggie (Christopher Gorham) and Joan (Kari Matchett) as well.

On tonight's episode, Annie has the infiltrate the FBI investigation into the murder, led by Rossabi (Noam Jenkins), to make sure that her secret is not revealed.

Executive Producer Matt Corman gave an exclusive scoop about the episode to TVGuide

"It's a predicament that Annie's never been in before," Corman said. "She's had to keep secrets, but this is different. Her life and future are on the line. It's not just following and catching a bad guy, so you'll see her more vulnerable than [she has been]."

Something that complicates matters even further is the fact that someone else, in addition to Joan, removed incriminating evidence from Seth's apartment. All secrets would be kept under wraps if Annie can get ahold of the flash drive that Seth had when he fell into the river, to prove that he was the CIA mole who had been working with Henry. Yet, Rossabi becomes more suspicious as Annie tries to obtain such information.

Executive Producer Chris Ord shared that revelations in upcoming episodes will change Annie's life and career forever.

"It's all going to come to a head in the final minutes, so don't miss it," Ord said. "There are some revelations and some moves that are made that will propel us in the last four of this batch. Annie's life will change. The whole trajectory of her life and career as a CIA officer will change."

"Covert Affairs" airs Tuesday nights on USA at 9 p.m.
