Nick Jonas is slated to appear on the upcoming season of "Hawaii Five-0."

CBS made the announcement on Tuesday and according to the Hollywood Reporter the Jonas Brothers singer will play a hacker in an episode of the procedural series.

"Nothing makes this show more fun than incorporating well-known, talented actors as guest stars on our show," said EP Peter Lenkov according to the Hollywood Reporter. "We're all thrilled to have Nick Jonas join our Ohana."

@CassAguiar03 was equally enthusiastic and added, "nick Jonas is gonna have an episode on Hawaii5-0 ;) so much sexiness in one episode"

@catalyst4troubl also noted, "Nick Jonas is going to appear in Hawaii 5 -0 this season. Therefore I must start watching it."

Other guest stars in the series include Chi McBride, Carol Burnett, Tim Daly, Henry Ian Cusick, Jorge Garcia, Terry O'Quinn, Rebecca De Mornay, Taryn Manning and Rumer Willis.

"Hawaii Five-0" season 4 will premiere on Friday, September 27 at 9 p.m. on CBS.

The new iteration of the hit series started on September 20, 2010, 42 years after the premiere of the 1968 series; that original version aired from 1968 through 1980. The 2010 season featured 24 episodes, the second showcased 23 and the most recent aired 23 episodes.
