The Pokémon Company International has announced the introduction of the new method of Pokémon training known as "Super Training."

The Super Training provides gamers another way to make their Pokémon grow stronger outside of battle.

Utilizing the Nintendo 3DS' touch screen, players can have their Pokémon increase respective base stats, from Attack, Defense, Speed, Special Attack (Sp. Atk), and Special Defense (Sp. Def).

One example of Super Training involves the Pokémon encountering Pokémon-shaped Balloon Bots in virtual space.

"Using the Circle Pad and Touch Screen to avoid shots from the Balloon Bots while landing their own in the goal, players will enjoy this action-packed feature while increasing their Pokémon's base stats to help them become stronger for battle," explained The Pokémon Company International in a statement.

A second method of Super Training is known as Core Training.

With Core Training, which is considered to be a "more casual" method of Super Training, players can set up training bags that were earned through Super Training. The Pokémon will work on Core Training on their own, which will also increase their base stats.

The introduction of the new training methods coincides with the reveal of three new sixth-generation Pokémon. As Latinos Post reported, dual-Electric-and-Fairy-type Dedenne and Normal-type Bunnelby will make their debuts in the Nintendo 3DS-exclusive games. Gogoat's pre-evolution was also announced as Skiddo, a Grass-type Pokémon.
