Nigeria will take on South Africa on Wednesday in an international friendly.

The two clubs have only met six times in their history; Nigeria has won five, lost once, and drawn once. Surprisingly, the teams have only met once in an international friendly. That game came in 2004 and was won by South Africa 2-1.

Wednesday's match will be played in honor of South African leader Nelson Mandela.

Nigeria split two games against the Ivory Coast in July and lost two of three matches in the group stage of the Confederations Cup; the team's lone win in the competition was a 6-1 thrashing of amateur Tahiti.

Here is a list of the squad South Africa will use in the match according to Allafrica.com:

Goalkeepers: Itumeleng Khune (Kaizer Chiefs), Wayne Sandilands (Mamelodi Sundowns)

Defenders: Mulomowandau Mathoho (Kaizer Chiefs), Tshepo Gumede (Platinum Stars), Thabo Nthethe (Bloemfontein Celtic), Anele Ngcongca (Racing Genk, Belgium), Bevan Fransman (SuperSport United), Tsepo Masilela (Kaizer Chiefs), Marc van Heerden (AmaZulu), Buhle Mkhwanazi (University of Pretoria), Thulani Hlatshwayo (Ajax Cape Town)
