The sixth Pokémon that can Mega Evolve has been revealed at the 2013 Pokémon World Championships in Vancouver.
First-generation Pokémon Kangaskhan is the latest pocket monster that can Mega Evolve, a new feature that will only take place during battles in "Pokémon X and Y."
Unlike the previous six Pokémon that can Mega Evolve, Kangaskhan's design does not change; a baby seen within her pouch makes the creature's Mega Evolution unique.

As seen in footage during the opening ceremony of the 2013 Pokémon World Championships in Canada, "Pokémon X and Y" Director Junichi Masuda introduced Mega Kangaskhan and how the baby will come out and participate in battle.
While the baby's name remains unknown, Mega Kangaskhan will have the Ability Parental Care, which allows her to attack the opponent twice.
One confirmed move for Mega Kangaskhan is Mega Punch.
The addition of Mega Kangaskhan comes as other characters were also revealed including Mega Absol, Mega Ampharos, Mega Blaziken, Mega Lucario, Mega Mawile, and Mega Mewtwo.
It was also announced during the opening ceremony that the "Pokémon X and Y Super Music Collection," the soundtrack of the upcoming Nintendo 3DS video games, will be released on iTunes in November 2013. The soundtrack will contain 202 songs.
"Pokémon X and Y" is set to launch worldwide on Oct. 12.
Meanwhile, the 2013 Pokémon World Championships concluded on Aug. 11, with six winners from the trading card game and video game tournaments. The Pokémon Championship Series saw participants from 25 countries travel to Canada.
From the trading game tournament, the Junior Division World Champion title went to Ondrej Kujal from Czech Republic. The Senior Division World Champion was Kaiwen Cabbabe from Australia. Finally, the Masters Division World Champion was Jason Klaczynski from the United States (U.S.).
In regards to the video game tournament, the Junior Division World Championship went to Brendan Zheng from the U.S. The Senior Division World Champion title also went to an American, with Hayden McTavish winning the title. The Masters Division World Champion went to Italy's Arash Ommati, defeating a challenger from Japan.

Smith. "We are incredibly proud of all the players who competed this weekend and want to extend a big congratulations to the 2013 Pokémon World Champions who represented their nations proudly."
The 2014 Pokémon World Championships will take place in Washington D.C.
