T-Mobile has reportedly removed Apple's iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S from the carrier's $0 sale as of Aug. 10.

According to TmoNews, T-Mobile did not issue a statement explaining why the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 were removed from their "$0 Down Summer Sale."

The iPhone 5 will return to its previous regular price of $145.99 down for the 16GB model with 24 monthly payments of $21. The 64GB model will have a down payment of $245.99, and $345.99 price for the 64GB model while maintaining the $21 for the next 24 months.

The iPhone 4S's 16GB model has a $69.99 down price with $20 for the next 24 months.

A T-Mobile representative told AllThingsD, "As is the nature of promotions, pricing moves are temporary. However, combined with our Simple Choice plan, it's easily one of the most affordable ways to purchase the latest iPhone."

Meanwhile, Apple released a new advertisement for the iPhone 5 touting its FaceTime app. The one-minute advertisement shows over a dozen scenarios with people using FaceTime in various situations to communicate with others.

The advertisement was released on YouTube on Aug. 5 and had accumulated nearly 600,000 views as of Aug. 10.

The iPhone 5 features a screen size of 4 inches with 1,136x640 pixels at 326 pixels per inch. The internal storage models come with 1GB of RAM but no microSD card slot. The wireless connectivity for the latest Apple smartphone includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth version 4.0, and USB version 2.0. The camera specifications include an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 3,264x2,448 pixels and a front-facing camera with 1.2 megapixels. The smartphone, which launched in September 2012, has 1,440mAh to provide up to 225 hours on standby and eight for talk time when under a 3G network
